10000/12000 BTU U-Shaped Window Air Conditioner with 6 Modes and White Panel

It’s very good concept with the u shape. Love it. It’s quite adjustable to whatever you need but the only other thing I wish it had is wifi connectivity so I could change settings or turn it on/off from elsewhere.

The inverted 'U' design of this air conditioner is great. You only lose about 2.5" of window. Our 1910 home has really thick outer walls and it fit perfect no need for brackets, it just sits at the correct slight tip so rain runs off it outside. Be sure to measure! Very quiet. I like that you can also use it just as a fan, and in that mode it tells you the room temp, so you know when to turn the air conditioner on. We have it in a room that needed another outlet anyhow and the electrician was impressed by the design and said the draw was low enough that using the other plug for a low draw item, like a lamp or even computer, would be fine in the same outlet. Very happy with this.

I did have to check on it because it hadn't shipped after a few weeks, but kissair was very responsive and after inquiry did get it shipped. Ordered during the initial tariff things, so that might have played a role.

If you leave this plugged and it gets full, you get a message that it’s Water Full. Let the outside manage itself. The unit is super quiet, not what I expected for a large capacity unit. Works on regular 110v power, and the plug itself contains a breaker. Do not try too circumvent that grounded plug. The control panel has mostly white indicator lights. You can use the control panel or the remote. Because the remote provides all the functions I need, I did not test the WiFi part. There’s a support website and QR codes as well. Yes, this is heavy, use a friend, but the effort will be worth it with drier and cooler air this year.

I received this unit a couple weeks ago and I had been hoping the weather would stop being completely frigid so that I could set this air conditioner into the window and demonstrate it. I decided to just unpack it and test it so that I could write the review, but not completely install it since I'm still using heat in my part of the country. The unit comes in an outer box with strapping on the internal packing. Get a friend to help you pull the box off. The unit is heavy, but the delivery man hauled it up to my porch by hand by himself and I'm able to lift it by myself - and hauled it up to the 3rd floor once it was out of the package by myself. It's bulky. You'll be more comfortable with a helper. The unit has spacers that support the whole thing so you don't bend the window sill. Then outside there are two knobs which you'll turn to push against the house on the outside to level it. I've set the unit on a console table so that you can see the knobs you'll need to adjust. Make sure they're fully retracted before you try to put the unit in the window. You'll probably need the clearance space. I'm was a little concerned about that piece because I thought the window was going to be tight around the unit and it's on a 3rd floor window. You should consider that requirement in your plans. They include a spirit level so you can level side to side and front to back. When the unit is running it will collect moisture inside the part inside the house. On the lower left front there is a drain plug to drain it every so often. The unit is, of course, ETL listed and it can be looked up on Intertek's site. It's also energy star rated and while there is a sticker on the outside box, there's another included with the manual. The manual itself is mostly safety warnings, but it does inform on some of the error messages you might encounter. The front of the unit opens up and the air particle screens are a type that fold underneath the unit. I've pulled one of the two forward so you can see what I mean. It has a sleep function, which helps keep it quiet since the compressor part is outside the window and segmented. I found the whole unit to be very quiet for an air conditioner. The fact the compressor is outside does make a difference so that you mostly hear the fan. I always found the window units were quieter than the floor models anyhow. Testing the cooling worked well. It got very cold very quickly. This seems like it is going to work really well for the room I'm putting it in.

I really like this air conditioner. The saddle style means that, instead of blocking your window, it sits low on the sill, giving you a little extra shelf for the cats to sit on. (And they will.) All the functions seem to work. It can cool a room, act as a fan, or even as a dehumidifier: it collected about two cups of water in eight hours. It's very simple and intuitive, and you can control every function easily from the remote. In the box it is very heavy, but there's about 10-15 ponds of box and packing materials. Once it's out, it's in the 65 pound range, not too hard to lift over the sill. Some hard foam bars are included to stick to the still as a base, and several blocks and strips of various foams are included to help you build a good seal around your window. It rattles a little on first start-up, but soon settles to a nice hum. Ordinarily I would promise to update this review when the weather gets hot, but sadly, this item was just destroyed in an unrelated disaster, so I can't update. Farewell awesome air conditioner!

1.that windows AC is great first it cools the room really fast. 2.the best part is quiet ..because noisy part is outside the windows .the room stays peaceful at night 3. the design is sleek and simple .and it's doesn't take up much space i installed it myself. it's easy to set up

I was a little confused about the U-shaped design but it's genius! As long as you don't have a thick brick ledge on the outside of your house below in the window, this thing just sits over the windowsill like a horse saddle & allows you to close the window ALOT more than the traditional window A/C style. This keeps the bugs out better & you don't have to put as much 'filler'. This unit is really heavy - use 2 people to 'install'. Seems good quality & works great! It cools down the majority of the house really fast & I love that it can be used as a fan & dehumidifier too (those work great too!). It's really easy to see & set with the digital screen - great modes/options. Quieter than I expected. I appreciate that it comes with a remote control to easily adjust it from across the room. A little pricey but how well it works, it's well worth it & a lot cheaper than a central air system. Actually, looks really nice in the window & I love that it doesn't block my view out the window. I highly recommend.

Wow, I'm super impressed by this AC unit! At 12,000 BTU, this window AC does an excellent job cooling medium-sized spaces. It’s more than capable of handling up to around 500 sq ft, and the performance is noticeable right away, especially in my entry hallway that tends to trap heat. The design is a big improvement over standard units. It feels much more stable once installed, and the U-shape style helps reduce noise significantly. Compared to the window unit I just replaced, this one runs much quieter, which makes a huge difference if you’re using it in a living space or bedroom. Installation is straightforward, though the unit is heavy, so having an extra set of hands helps. I did it alone without any trouble and I'm a lady, but if you've never installed a window unit before ask someone to help you. It comes with the necessary foam pieces to create a good seal, and the adjustable components make it easier to level and secure. The controls are so easy to use, and the remote is intuitive. Features like the energy-saving mode and removable, washable filter add to the convenience. A strong performer with thoughtful design and noticeably quieter operation than traditional window units. I installed in my slider windows using a glass filler above it, which looks pretty nice and works out perfectly!

Love this AC!.The U-shape design is a game changer.you can still open window a bit.also I like the different mode (cool,fan.dry).which is useful depend on weather.the only downside is installing ,it’s a bit tricky compared to standard windows AC units make sure you follow the instructions carefully.definitely worth it!
