Smooth operation, and very efficient for our usage in both a large and medium sized bedroom. Make sure you are aware of the space it will take, and that you have the clearance near a window for venting.
I got this portable air conditioner for my bedroom, which is really small. We turn it on mostly at night time. At first, it was really difficult because the room is so small the AC registers the temperature as 68 almost right away but it’s not really cool. It also kept turning off because it was on energy saver mode. So we decided to switch it to the dehumidifier mode and it’s made a tremendous difference. We don’t have a way to hook it up to a drain though and it pulls so much moisture from the air in the room that we had to get a roughly 3 gallon container so it wouldn’t overflow. It is not very quiet, but the instructions said that would happen depending on certain factors such as it doesn’t have enough clearance around it and it’s not on a level floor. That’s not a huge deal for us though because even with it being noisy, it doesn’t disrupt our sleep. So far we have had it running for two months and it hasn’t had any problems. Installing the exhaust to the window was a bit tricky since we have really thin windows. But it was easy to cut down the window kit it comes with. I will say the instructions were not super clear. I couldn’t figure out how to turn the energy saver mode off so it would stop turning off at night. But it ended up not making a difference since we didn’t leave it on AC.
This unit has great cooling ability. I purchased it for my living room. I had to move my window unit because my new neighbor vapes and it is making my cat sick (that’s a story for another time and platform). I am so pleased with the power and functionality. I will have to rearrange my furniture a bit but that is a small price to pay for the comfort and relief this air conditioner provides. And another plus is unlike to window unit, it does not obstruct my view of the river and mountains.

OMG BEST AC EVER!!!!!!!! I can't tell you how much money I have spent on crappy AC's and fans I have purchased over the last year that don't work very well. I wish I would have found this first. I like my room to be like 67 degrees to sleep and it's been so hot lately. This cools my room completely in 5 mins. Took ten mins to set up. Shipped pretty quickly. I love the timer and remote. I CAN SLEEP AGAIN!!! Game changer I can't recommend this enough. My room gets so cold I have to turn it off because it's TOO cold. A dream!!! Buy this, trust me.

It did very well. Even on hot days. It wasn't very loud and compact to fit in the rv. The hose fits in most windows and easy to install.

Got this unit to have in case of power outages to run on the generator. Was packed well, no damage upon receipt. Only rough spot was my windows are all less than the 37 inches minimum for the exhaust panel. Had to cut a couple inches off the slider, but was successful in maintaining a tight seal. Everything worked from first try, very cool air into the bedroom. Not as noisy as I thought, but I kept the fan on low speed. Cooled down the room 2 degrees in 30 minutes, then the auto shut off worked. There was a disparity between the temp setting on the unit and actual air temp measured by my room thermometer by 3 degrees, but not a big deal. It travels easily over tile, a little tougher to maneuver over carpet. So far, so good, will update after regular usage.
