I got this air conditioner in preparation for hurricane season however, my husband decided that it would be best put to use under his desk at work! He works in a warehouse that isn’t air conditioned or heated (the picture of the air conditioner and heater side by side gives a clue!) and with our temperatures heating up it got relocated until hurricane season heats up. It is compact enough to fit under his desk but powerful enough to cool his area and make it tolerable during the 90+ days. It is well made and runs quiet. It is heavy but still compact enough to be transported and portable. Definitely worth considering when planning for the heat of summer or hurricanes.

I’ve been using this Kissair 8000 BTU portable AC for a few days now, and I’m really impressed. My bedroom is around 300 sq. ft., and it cools the space quickly and evenly. The 4-in-1 functions are great — the dehumidifier mode is a nice bonus, and the fan mode is quiet enough for sleep. The remote control and 24-hour timer make it really convenient, and the window kit fit well without any hassle. Setup took me about 15 minutes. For the price this is an excellent value. This portable air conditioner is perfect for my garage. The instruction is easy to set up and very ease to use too. I don’t hear much noise and the air is pretty cool. The package shows care and profession so I like it a lot.

We just installed this portable air conditioner yesterday. The setup was pretty easy, and it has wheels on the bottom so we can move it around easily. It has a few fan speed settings — we used the medium one and it works pretty well.overall it works and worth the price!!

One of the best little air conditioners I have ever bought I followed the instructions and let it set up 4 hours before plugging it in I plugged it in and within a minute and a half it started getting really cold and I mean cold cold I never thought this little air conditioner can throw out so much cold air my house is so comfortable it's a must buy good product all way around I would definitely buy it again

As it often gets well into the 90s here in the high desert, even topping 100 some days, the need for AC is a must. Our bedroom can really heat up, and we don't have central air, so this is a good option for sleeping on the hottest nights. Fortunately, our bedroom has a window we can vent out, although we have to put the unit on some boards to allow the vent hose to reach, not a big deal. The operation is of average loudness when the compressor kicks in, but we both like white noise when we sleep so this is not a problem. It definitely puts out cold air, on a few 80 degree days we had to turn it off because we were cold, nice problem to have. Like the remote control for this reason too. Combined with a room air purifier, it keeps the air clean as well as cold.

I am so pleased with this portable air conditioner unit. We live in desert and air conditioning is a need not a want. This portable air conditioner is perfect for my 6 and 7 year old nephews room. It keeps the room cold like a meat locker. You do need a nearby window to vent the a/c. It is convenient to move the air conditioner unit around with the attached wheels. The setup and installation was pretty straightforward. I have set up air conditioners before, so it was pretty easy to set this one up. There is also a remote control for the unit, which is so convenient. This air conditioner unit really has been a life-saver this summer.

I have had it for about two weeks now and it is stronger than I thought it would be it cools the master bedroom really quickly and it is not a small room. It was easy to setup and worked great. I could not be happier

It cools down my room and it's a super small space I love it so much...its worth it if you wanna just keep a small space cool.
Also I do gotta worry about my cat. She likes to mess with the hose thinking it's a scratching post Haha
But overall I'd buy this product over and over again if I could

We purchased this portable air conditioner about three weeks ago. We live in a mobile home. The weather here in the summer is hot with high humidity. We also have central heat and air. The central air conditioner works, however, we have no shade around our house and it heats up tremendously during the day. This portable unit has made the difference! Fantastic buy and a great buy!

Cools really well. On low, nice and quiet. Depending on your window size, the fixture for the vent might need adjustment. It's the width of the window. It can be cut with a metal bladed hacksaw, or you can score it with an exact. Either will work. I will say it is much better than the Black and Deker unit. It lasted oseason saeason. I belive this one will be different. You may need 2 to cool off a large area. Much better quality. I have the system on an interior bucket. It helps to have 2. That way one can be emptied while the other still drains. GOOD LUCK!
