I was really excited to get this, and so far I'm very impressed. Summers where I live get over 110 degrees, and my main AC just can't keep up, so I had high hopes for this, and it's already making a difference.
It's compact but powerful, and I love the casters so I can easily move it from room to room. It cools up to about 350 sq ft with strong airflow, and the auto-evaporation feature means no constant draining, which is a huge plus.
Setup was simple with the included window kit, no drilling needed, and the filters are washable , which saves money. I also like that it doubles as a fan or dehumidifier, and the remote makes it super convenient to operate.
Overall, it seems efficient, easy to use, and perfect for staying comfortable in extreme heat.

I purchased this 8000 BTU portable air conditioner for my 200 sq ft bedroom for this summer. The unit rolls easily from room to room and feels well built for the price.

The cooling performance is solid. What really stands out is the drainage free operation. The self-evaporating system actually works as promised, which is a big upgrade from my previous portable AC.

I love the 4 in 1 functionality. Cool mode is powerful, the fan is decent, dehumidifier mode helps with muggy air, and sleep mode is noticeably quieter with the 24 hour timer and remote making it very convenient to use. I can set it to turn on before bed or before I get home from work.

It’s not whisper quiet on high, typical for portable units, but sleep mode keeps the noise tolerable at night. Great value if you need effective cooling in a small to medium room without the hassle of constant draining. I highly recommend it.

Great little cooler! It’s the perfect size for a small room—doesn’t take up much space but still puts out a nice, cool breeze. What really impressed me is how quiet it is; you can run it all night without it being distracting. Simple controls and does exactly what I need. Highly recommend if you want something compact and effective.

I bought it almost a month , thinking the installation might have to wait until my husband was free. It was finally installed today, and it didn't even take 10 minutes—very simple. If the women like me, there won't be any problems. Our central air conditioning always had one room that wasn't cool enough; my son's room was always too hot. Now that we have this, he finally doesn't have to complain to me anymore. The temperature dropped immediately after the machine was turned on.

I purchased two units. They both work as advertised. I recommend these for a nice cool indoor summer experience.

Well I had to trim the panel down if it's in the window so I had to wait till I could get a saw and saw that damn which I did and I saw it great and it's in the window The only other issue I had was that the exhaust tube which way too short actually so I had to get a longer one and that one was just right but I can't move it too far because it's still not real long but it does work good I've tried it a few times and I'm so far it's been pretty good and it was very easy you know to get it up and running thank you.

I finally found a portable AC that lives up to the hype. I’m wary of buying items I find on my FB feed, but after seeing the ad for a couple of weeks I decided to give you a try.
I’ve gone through multiple window and portable units in the last several years that don’t last more than a summer, maybe two, that can’t cool the house below 80 degrees. I live in a 115 year old farm house with very poor insulation and summers here will get to the upper 90’s to over 100 for days or weeks at a time. The house routinely gets to 80-85 degrees even when I had units running.
I have this unit in my family room and it has kept it very comfortable.
I will definitely be getting one of your larger units for the main part of the house. Thank you!

It keeps freezing up having to put on fan mode to un freeze it other than that it blows cold air

This portable air conditioner is perfect for my gaming room. It tends to get fairly warm in there with all the games and monitors running and this portable AC is great. It was very simple top get set up. I had it running in about ten minutes. It easily keeps the room nice and cool now. The remote works from anywhere in the room, but it also has easy to use buttons on the front. It came with the window hose kit as well. I would recommend this portable air conditioner.

We are having a really hot Spring so far this year and unfortunately our AC went out (better than in August, I guess.) So I was absolutely THRILLED to get to review this air conditioner. I am familiar with the Kissair brand and have tried a few different small appliances, all very good, so I had high expectations. WELL THANK YOU JESUS it works really well. It has plenty of power for our large living area (we moved it to the bedroom at night and it did equally well.) It's not super loud, keeps the room dry, and the temperature is consistent. It's heavy enough not to easily knock over!

The Kissair 8000 BTU Portable AC does a good job cooling smaller rooms—it brings the temp down fairly quickly and is easy to move around. The remote and multiple modes are nice for everyday use.

The “drainage-free” claim is a bit misleading though. It uses self-evaporation, but in humid conditions you’ll still need to drain it occasionally.

It’s also a little noisy, but nothing unusual for a portable unit.

Overall, a good budget AC for bedrooms or offices, just don’t expect zero maintenance.

Got this unit to use in a small bedroom room since we do not have a working central unit. It was easy to set up and get installed. It is not very loud, but does make sound, more like some background noise and easy to ignore. It works great and does an excellent job of keeping the room comfortable. No complaints and no issues thus far, it has been working extremely well. Excellent value. And the electric bill is still far lower than when the central ac unit did work, so I’m in no rush to get it replaced.

Why I ordered this item: My bedroom gets crazy hot in summer and the central air doesn't reach it well. I wanted something portable that I could move around if needed and that wouldn't need me to empty a water tank constantly.

* I've had this running for weeks and haven't emptied any water once. It just handles the condensation on its own somehow.

* Cooling power is really strong for a portable unit. My bedroom is maybe 250 square feet and this brings it down from the mid-80s to around 70 in about 20 minutes on high.

* The wheels roll smooth and the handles make it easy to move between rooms. I've dragged it from my bedroom to the living room a few times with no issues.

* Remote works from across the room and the LED display is bright enough to see from my bed. The timer function is super convenient for setting it to turn off after I fall asleep.

No likes:

* It's not quiet on the higher fan speeds. Sleep mode is much better but when you need serious cooling it sounds like any other portable AC.

Final thoughts: Not having to empty water buckets all summer makes this worth it. I was dreading that but this thing just takes care of itself.
