8000-14000 BTU Window Air Conditioner Energy Saving with Remote Control A85 Series

This 14,000 BTU window air conditioner really cools very well and feels like a solid, heavy-duty unit. The remote lets you control everything — power, temperature, fan speed, mode, timer, and more. The mode options include AC, Fan, Dehumidifier, and Eco (which turns the fan off when the compressor isn’t running). It’s also relatively quiet unless you turn the fan speed up — it has an extremely powerful fan compared to others I’ve seen, should you choose to use it that way. All in all, this is a totally solid, heavy-duty 14,000 BTU window AC unit.

This window AC unit fit my window with no problem. It blows incredibly cold air and cools my 15x15 room in no time to a comfortable temperature. I like that it is the standard 120 volt so I didn’t need any electrical work. It is heavy to lift and probably a two person job for most people. The included remote control is handy, but requires a tiny Phillips head screwdriver to open the battery compartment. I used a security bar to prevent someone from breaking intro my home because the included screws would not go into my vinyl windows. One small complaint is I had to tape all around it to prevent bugs from entering my room. Overall, this window unit is very easy to operate, relatively quiet, functions well, and appears well-made.

Air conditioner is HEAVY! Packaging is very protective! I have a pole backing up the window holding the unit in the opening as my style windows don’t work with the screw mounts with the unit. The unit seems to work great, and seems to be of superb quality. Cools fasts! Gaming room heats up with the computers etc so now it’s the coolest room in the house! Plus it runs very quiet. The remote is very handy and doesn’t feel cheap. Other than the risk of throwing your back out installing it, I can totally recommend it. Always handy to have a window unit on hand. Seems the central air goes out on a Friday when the following Monday is a holiday, so 4 or 5 days until it’s repaired. This is a great unit and the right size and price to have on hand for that purpose as well.

I have 30 foot vaulted ceilings (A Frame house). Central Air went out and figured I’d just continue my quest to transition to window units. First time I think the house has ever reached 72 during the summer. lol

Very easy to set up and install. Would recommend a window bracket, because this thing is heavy! Easily a two-person job. My house is 40 years old and has 52” windows and I couldn’t find any that match that, so I had to ask AI how to customize one a bit.

This arrived securely packaged in its own product box. This window AC is very heavy and quite deep so straight away you do expect this to be pretty heavy duty. This is a very powerful window unit with various features. Included with this unit is the window sliding panels which are simple to install. This comes with a remote control which has a small screw at the back to stop the battery cover from falling off. The remote does require 2xAAA batteries which is included. The instructions are quite comprehensive and simple to follow. When this is running the noise level is pretty low and is surprisingly quiet. There are 4 modes: cool, dry, fan and auto to choose from. There is an eco setting which switches the AC off once the temperature that is set has been reached. There is also a timer and a sleep button. The filter button will light up once the window unit has run for 500 hours which is a reminder to clean the filter. Overall I cannot fault this unit and I do feel this deserves a full 5 star rating.

It has a washable filter that is convenient. I love that it has a remote to control at nighttime. I didn’t find that the noise level was bad even at the highest mode but I just really wanted to be cool and that’s what I got !

Keeps my room cool like I like it. The noise level doesn't bother me, used to having something like this or a box fan in the background when I sleep. No problems with Quality or Design. It was a little difficult to install and took 2 people but well worth it.

After reading the reviews it was clearly stated that the was the best buy for your buck. The noise level is moderate. The cooling ability is phenomenal. We live in Northern Louisiana and the humidity combined with temperatures causes it to be sweltering. Central is too expensive. This air conditioner cools the living room, dining room and kitchen. We like our house very cool, and it delivers. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great product without breaking the bank. update: When the compressor kicks in it has started making a loud noise, Sounds like the fan.

Absolutely love this product. It’s pretty quiet for an air conditioner! It gets unbelievably hot inside and this AC cools it down fast with no problems WITH the fan on med I speed! Super easy installation! Highly recommend! So far there are no problems with it. It’s definitely worth the price!

It's big, its bulky and its heavy, but it does an amazing job cooling! It's about the same noise level as my previous window units and definitely puts out cold air!
