Bought this AC unit to replace a failed 5000 btu unit. It's early yet (3 days) but I'm very pleased with this air conditioner! My only complaint would be that the instruction manual could be more detailed as it pertains to operating it. Had to go through some trial and error but figured things out. Not happy that my old AC unit only lasted 1 year and 2 days, but am very pleased with my purchase!

I'm in South Central Texas and have been running this 8000 btu air conditioner for a week now. I have to admit I'm impressed. I live in a handicapped accessible apartment so there are no doors, except for the bathroom. The temps have been in the muggy mid 90's. This unit is installed in the living room and set @75. It's keeping the room in this uninsulated 50yr old apartment between 73.7-75. The compressor kicks in @ 75.3. The kitchen is also comfortable although I don't have a thermometer in there to monitor the temp. Even the bathroom manages to stay at 75. The bedroom is on the other side of a "U" shape so the cold air doesn't make it all the way to the back of that room, but it was 77 the last time I checked. This ac is working better than the same sized 1yr old name brand ac this one replaced. I paid more for the name brand unit and it started spraying water out the back, even with a drain.

The bracket that goes across the top wouldn't screw down tight but it hasn't caused it to vibrate or make noise. Even with high humidity I haven't heard water sloshing around inside the unit or leaking out. I couldn't find a drain hole plug by touch and I'm unable to bend low enough to look under it. There is no mention of one in the very generic owners manual. Other than the top bracket this seems to be a solid air condition for the price. The guy I hired had the old one out and this one installed in less than 30 minutes.

There is no mention of a warranty in the manual but there's a sheet of paper with a number you can call for any questions or problems.

I'm considering buying another one to replace the 6000 btu ac I have in my bedroom.

It is a great product. Easy to assemble. The window unit is quite. I usually keep it on 72 but t cools off the room so fast that I have to take it down to 76. The window unit was right to the size. It fits my window perfectly. Love the wifi control from your phone.

Great Air Conditioner and easy to install.

It works very well & keeps the room cole, Its easy to install, It took me a little longer, ( I'm 90 wears old & took a few extra brakes) but it went really well. What I like is that does not run asmuch asothers & the fan stops when it shuts down, like others do.

Product works well and can keep a room at its maximum rated size cool. I needed a VERY small screwdriver to remove a screw on the battery cover for the remote control. When my unit is on eco mode the temperature can vary over 5 degrees F, based on other digital thermometers i have in the room at the same height before the compressor kicks in. I have the outlet metered and it uses just over 100w with just the fan on high, about 650w when compressor is running. The hardware that came with it worked perfectly in my vinyl window.

My new A/C was delivered in perfect condition and arrived earlier than expected, and with no damage whatsoever This is the best replacement A/C I was able to find anywhere for my current needs Light weight, and the perfect size I needed, and it was very easy to install all by myself I upgraded from my 12 year old LG 6,000 BTU which stopped working because the fan gave out The extra 2,000 Btu's on this A/C makes a big difference for my cooling needs I'm so glad I upgraded I also didn't have to drive all over town searching for a replacement unit during a spring heat wave

Saved me a lot of stress because of the recent spring heat wave in Florida and me without a working air conditioner What to do?? This unit does the job very well I even had to shut it off a few times already because I was getting chilly That never happened with my old LG 6,000 unit

I love this ac unit. Quiet and efficient. I used the old midea bracket as my window frames are a bit different. Everything is running well and I'm super happy with this product.
