Easy to install, I had our electrician put in a dedicated line, but he said it might not have been needed since it only pulls 6 amps.

This a great cooling unit and it also looks very nice. It chills the room quickly and the quiet fan is quiet. I think it might be the compressor that makes noise when it hums and vibrates and that is only sound it makes and it can be kind of loud for light sleepers. The remote makes it easy to control from a distance, but the info like temperature or mode might be out of sync when you change settings with the AC buttons instead. The remote display info refreshes after changing anything with the remote. The vent is adjustable. The foam boards and weather strips come included. It works for me and I love it. Had it for a month so far. I thought it was a pretty good deal. I have no information about efficiency, I just wanted an AC unit that didn't cover up all the window and the U shape is good for isolating the condenser outside so it releases the heat more fully outside. I would have preferred that the remote display have a backlight when it is used at night.

This space air conditioner is really large and works very well. It is easy to use and really efficient.

I needed two more inches for this to work for my home. Those that have brick ramblers really need to be cautious of trying to get this unit. I loved the idea of it helping cool the upstairs and be in the dining room window without balancing on the sill or taking up the view. It would have been great had it cleared the bricks on the outside of the sill. I was still able to test the unit and it works just fine. The remote is really nice and it will make a nice gift for my niece who doesn’t have bricks on the outside of her windows! I love the design and if they make one that can go a few more inches to accommodate brick ramblers, I will be happy to enjoy one!

I love my new air conditioner, my goodness it is so quiet and it cools down my living room and kitchen. I will be purchasing another one. I highly recommend this, except you do need three people cause it is heavy.

It was very easy to install. It actually took me longer to get it out of the box than it took to get it in place. It was not hard to handle by myself even though I have had 4 open heart surgeries. It is much quieter than I expected and is rapidly cooling my 480 square foot living room/kitchen/dining area open floor plan. It is also a wonderful bonus that I can see out the window again after using a portable unit that blocked a large portion of the view. I could not be happier or more satisfied at this point.

VERY Quiet!! We've had a window ac in our bedroom for years. I just put this one in last week. It cools great so far and its so quiet I keep waking up, thinking it's turned off!! I will say one thing, not sure if its good or bad but the water drain is on the front of the unit. I would prefer the water be able to drain outside but so far so good.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
I love the inverted U shape - it is very unobtrusive and can still see out window. Very quiet when on the quiet setting. Thermostat works well, unlike most portable AC units. Very powerful fan and easy to operate. Nice remote. 5 stars! Update: Its also super energy efficient. Electric bills so much less than so the our previous freestanding AC unit. It works so well we may not need to install $4k central air now. If you’re thinking of ordering, do not hesitate - just do it!

The unit had a malfunction in the drain pump. I called and they replaced it without delay or question. I'm pretty happy with this after using it for the summer.

This is a great Unit - the quality is exceptional- silent and easier to set up than most traditional units. I was happy I made this choice and summer was a silent cool breeze.

So far, I am legitimately shocked at how good this AC is. Bought this to replace the clunky, loud, portable unit in ny living room, and I could not be more pleased. At first I thought it must be weaker than my previous unit because it is so incredibly quiet. After 3+ days of 90°+ weather, the house climate is staying just right. It's cooling roughly 900 s.f. on my ground floor without a hiccup. It's much easier to seal off the window, which improves efficiency. My dogs are no longer tempted to tamper with the opening, and much more sunlight gets in. So far, this is the best AC I've ever had, by a wide margin. Excellent use of $400 right before summer.

Nice design, cools well. The unit works well. This was our first of this design type and being able to have most of the window still available is really nice. A couple of things I didn’t think of, not major: the intrusion INTO the room is more than the old style that set in the window. It’s not huge but it does hang over the window sill and stick out a bit from the wall.

WOW!!!! This is one Powerful Air Conditioner!! It keeps my whole downstairs, like an ice box! Plus, it is Quite!!! It dropped the temperature in my place, pretty fast!! I believe this is pretty damn close to Central Air!!! Ladies - Hot Flashes, Meet Your Match!!! The air that comes out it so unbelievably cold, it knocks my hot flash right out!! Love this Machine!!!!
When you first receive it, it seems Huge! Yet, most of that hangs outside the window. So don't worry! Also, Do Not Cut The Straps!! It Will HELP lift the Air Conditioner!!!
Also, it was pretty easy to install!

Got this for my flat and it has been excellent. Especially when I'm in bed and want not to get up to adjust the temperature, the remote control comes really handy. Furthermore greatly beneficial for a student's budget are its energy-saving properties.

I like the way it fits into the window, I would like a better operations book, because I'm not sure why it kicks on and off before it kicks on and runs as it should. also would like more information on inside drain plug. I have purchased a second one for my other room
